Comment on change of direction, maybe this is a suggestion for a future explanatory video. Let S = Slow. The count for change of direction is S-S-S, which means I’m ending the three steps of change of direction in the middle of a bar of music. (Let’s say a bar is 4 beats, though I know a musician might be thinking that’s a half bar). S-S-S translates to 12-34-56. Q: Do I hold for two beats to get back on the bar, enabling me to initiate the next sequence on 1 ? ( I can usually feel it when I’m off the bar, and it’s almost excruciatingly confusing, so then I will silently count to try to adjust, but of course I’m fumbling and likely confusing my follow.)

1.) I’ve taken years of lessons. 2.) I’m back to basics working on technique. 3.) I am experienced enough to utilize videos with less chance of developing bad habits. 4.)
